For those not willing to buy from foreign stores. If you buy a £20 xbox live credit voucher from cdkeys and use the 5% Facebook code it is practically the same price on the UK xbox store. £19.05.

​Well it's 19 quid for £20 making it £18.05 with the 5% discount I mentioned. Add the remaining 99p......... £19.04 to be exact. I didn't just pluck a number out of the sky.

Primal is a bit dull after a while, it becomes a bit of a grind to unlock everything and there's not a huge amount of difference in the missions after a while. It's enjoyable enough and at £18ish it's well worth a punt. It's essentially Far Cry 4 with cavemen instead

When trying to redeem the credit I now get an error about not being in the correct region. Anyone else getting this error? This is on xbox.com

I haven't. TBH it's for my brother. Last time I bought a game thru xbox Russia it worked fine. But now he seems to be getting the error when redeeming the credit. There are so many good games coming out soon that I want to make sure this still works! Cheers.

I had that exact issue when buying Vermintide from the HK store, but once I went through the HK store and added the code in during the checkout process that worked. When I tried redeeming the code separately from the HK xbox site that didn't seem to work. It's possible you could also try switching region on the Xbox itself then redeeming the code, that might work but I've never tried it.

Apologies for what maybe a stupid question but how do we get the Facebook codes. Do I need to go into the cdkeys Facebook page to get it.

​Have you made a Russian payment method to add the credit to? I have used a few countries vouchers and never had issues redeeming on xbox.com. But because I used Revolut before I had payment accounts for all of the regions. Maybe you need something like this? Can be any Russian address if so.

I'm not sure I follow. The method I've been using was to buy xbox credit from the Russian Microsoft store using Revolut and to then add that to my xbox account on xbox.com (with the region set to Russia). The problem my bro had was at the stage where you add the credit to the account. He had the 25 digit code but xbox.com spat out an error implying he wasn't in the correct region. I tried the same code and got the same error. He then tried it on the console after changing region on there and it worked.

I just wonder if this is Microsoft starting to cut back on the region swapping. The page to redeem the code for the credit looked different so makes me think things have been updated.

​Not sure if it's changed then. I use the android app to redeem and never had to change region once. I have payment methods for a whole set of countries so my thinking was that it checks that and that's the reason I've had no issues. Last time I used it was for USA last week, went straight on my account with no issues. I'm in Spain so I'd be screwed if they stopped other regions as the games here are insanely expensive. I rely on cheap digital games.

​Can we spread about the fact that you can put absolutely any characters into that email box to get the code please? I know it's stupid but it bugs me that I type a single letter and so many people are typing out entire emails that are most likely being sold on.
