Well to be fair, there is clear indication of difference in the title

waste of time really now. Superceded by the new expansion, so locked out of a fair amount of the game.

if you were to buy this, and then the latest expansion, it'd work out more expensive then just buying them all together in the Destiny collection. And if you're going to jump in now, you'll want to be able to do all the current stuff, not just the old content.

I bought this just before collection came out, and even though people raved about the taken king I honestly didn't think it was all that. I didn't realise that Destiny was hyped up also so I would have been even more disappointed if i knew. I also find it quite cheeky how they would lock PvP modes and certain daily/weekly goodies because your not on the latest edition. Feels too commercial/"system based" imo to really get into the game properly.
I do like the random online players helping you out on quests though.. thats a very nice touch. Other than that I dont find it unique..
I completed it within 2 week and 2nd character within the 3rd week.
I used to play heavily on COD and Halo. I would say its a cross between Halo and Boarderlands.
