Just got this from the Canada store using a VPN. Had to add a Canadian address to my Microsoft account first, used one from Alberta because they have lower tax and cost $10.40 which was £6.60.

i would say wait as tomb raider definitive edition was on sale before release of rise but also went gwg for launch of rise. so chances are good that this will also go to gwg for dead rising 4 release but as it is a different publisher (capcom) there is equal chance it wont be free.
Worst case its not a gwg and you can put that £13 towards dr4 which should be better (hopefully).

I was getting the same issue but after a few tries, it asked for a Canada address to be set up against my MS profile.
Does using a VPN avoid this?

I have all the dlc including the street fighter dlc, and if you like the full game you will definitely like the dlc, and its not really coop its more single player, except one where you need to gather a group of npc from the game, so no "real" coop as such.
im still playing after over 2 years of having it, just getting myself ready for dead rising 4 :wink:
It seems to yes, I tried using PayPal without one and it wouldn't work but as soon as I used the VPN it worked fine and has been ever since.
Bought loads using that method as credit / debit cards no longer work.
Just a shame more countries don't allow PayPal.

Vpn's didn't load the site for me, so what I did is go to Microsoft Canadian store buy a $10 CAD gift card, then go to it through the Canadian store w/o a VPN and buy it from the gift card. EDIT: Didn't work stuck with a $10 card now rip lmao.

Same here but trading into CEX gives you a £13 voucher. Makes this a good deal if you don't want to have the disc and really need the DLC. See comment #23 for their opinion

last time i tried to add the codes i was getting a CSV error mismatch error...
i got around this by changing my xbox region and adding the code for credit that way... but thats not something i want to be making a habbit of, as i have a feelign it will be frowned upon by M$ .. tempted by state of decay from SA

Finally got PayPal to work. Deleted app off phone then added PayPal through Microsoft account and billing. Reset phone then used vprvpn to try again and it worked! Can I just use PayPal now instead of buying the credit with revolut?

This is what I did:
1. without VPN, Go to canada store page for dead rising 3
2. click buy
3. add payment method paypal. this should get added as a payment method, which is important. Paypal might not work if it sees you're accessing paypal from a new country not previously known to them.
4. start vpn using canada address. I used Opera browser's built in vpn
5. Go back to your cart and buy again
6. This time your paypal details is already saved so continue.
7. It will ask for your canadian address. Enter it.
8. Complete transaction!
9. Start your xbox and you should see it in your games library ready to download.
