If you weren't desperate enough to buy this at launch I would suggest waiting for a game of the year edition with the season pass. The Witcher 3 one has made me feel a little sick recently with paying full price for the game and both DLC then seeing the game of the year edition at £25.00 on here.
Still great game, good price. Heat. :smile:

I envy you having not played this yet. You're in for a treat. My favourite Souls game due to the copious amounts of fan service and polish! Just about beats Bloodborne for me. One small gripe is too many bonfires, I loved the way the first game had less bonfires and more clever shortcuts!

Didn't think it was a deal when I bought the other day. managed to pick up for £17 in Asda Chatham on Monday. I didn't post as thought would be store specific and a wild goose chase for many others. :smiley:

Really not sure what I think about these games...I literally just finished Dark Souls 1 after about 100 hours, I really don't get much time to play so that has taken me about a year. On the one hand I thought it was an amazingly immersive world and loved getting to know it, but just so brutal and intense that it kind of sucks you in and really takes it out of you emotionally. Some extremely hard bosses that I had to look online for help for, some things you can miss and have to google (e.g. being stuck in the tomb of giants in the pitch black not realising I could use something for a torch). Just too much playing the same parts over and over, maybe I am just bad at it!
Really I was glad to finish it, and not sure if I can face starting another souls game. I would like it to be a little less challenging, don't really enjoy running the same route to meet a boss for the 20th time, just seems a little pointless and boring after a while.
How to DS2 and 3 compare to 1?
