This stuff has anti-microbial properties so is beneficial for anything Oral...great as moisturiser, make-up remover and cleanser (girls stuff) and Oil pulling is a centuries old remedy. Just not from this country.
Has a very high smoke point and keeps it's chemical bonds in cooking, unlike other oils. Is a source of medium-chain fatty acids which are quickly metabolised in the liver for energy production without any 'sugar spike'.
I'm all in favour of Science for it's wonderful discoveries but if you don't try stuff like this, and prove to yourself if it does or doesn't work, then you're just giving up your right to work out the individual health complaints that we all inherit through genetics or environment.
Make a flat-white at home by adding this and some butter to a coffee in a jar...shake it up baby....best creamy coffee ever! [this sentence is purely opinion and has not been vaerified by some corporation that has historically used the beauty and imagination of science and scientists as a tool to manipulate the sheep into buying their latest product]
Science is beautiful. Don't get it confused with Marketing!

Why not? When I had severe, debilitating toothache over several months and to the point that the dentist said nothing would make a difference except extraction, three days with coconut oil and the pain completely vanished. Incredible stuff.
