Cracking price for a quality workhorse Multi-function Black and White Laser Printer from Canon, with all the basic bells and whistles, plus an extended 3 year warranty.
We use another non Multifunction Canon Laser printer that uses the same toner and feel the Canon original high capacity 6000 page toner option is excellent value for money.
When I say workhorse, Canon claim a duty cycle of up to 8000 pages a month.

Agreed this comes with a lower capacity toner in the box but you can buy a high capacity toner for it and we find the original Canon one (rather than compatible) good value for money.

Bought one of these for my business but it's a nightmare! Always having wifi connection problems, and scanning using document feeder is always jamming, wouldn't buy a Canon again....

I think the reason the toner cartridge is so expensive is because it's not just the toner, but includes a new drum and other bits. I'm no expert on these things, but not so good on the eco/green front.
I'm looking for a colour one, but this is a fair price if you factor in the warranty. I'd prefer to see a larger document feeder though. Scanning only 35 pages max is a pain, if that's your need. Most do a minimum of 50-60 sheets.
