Mike Sanderson is the man behind Calibre bikes, he started at Raleigh as a product designer for Diamond Back and now he designs MTB & road bikes for go outdoors, they start from entry level to low end pro bikes with great reviews and prices starting from £299-£1299 you can't go wrong with any of these bikes

The value is second to none and google some reviews, they're very highly regarded and a total bargain
More than most of us will ever realistically ever need or fully utilise

Good for the money but no hydraulic brakes is a shame.

£32 for a set of hydraulic disc brakes, not a major cost.

Cold, can get a car for not much more. Then you can use the road, without being an inconvenience for people actually pay road tax.

So I take it you've never had a bike in your life time and never ridden it on a road??? I drive a car and pay road tax, also ride a MTB & road bike!!

Or you could lease a car and drive the mountain bike to the mountains and really experience life. Its a great deal but I prefer no suspension.
