I don't trust quidco with offers like this.
Tracked and unpaid many times.
Topcashback is more reliable for me

Link goes direct to AXA website , you wouldn't get cashback that way surely ?
You must go to Quidco and log in there then follow a link from there so the cashback tracks and gets paid .

Link changed to quidco but dont know that is the correct thing to do.

I've bought AXA through quidco, similar £90 on 6 Aug 2016. Up to now, it's still on 'tracked' and not being paid yet.

I bought one AXA back in May 2015 and got paid in November 2015. They are slow

excellent... i'll check it out. Four months in to my current policy but not claimed so should be worth cancelling and getting a partial refund.

I guess that's just luck. I've always found QuidCo much more reliable, TCB have denied loads of cashback I was entitled too

Lol, people can't even log onto Topcashback these past few weeks, let alone get as far as having a deal tracked.

Wrong title. Potentially 20£ FIRST year, not per year.

my purchase was in July, my estimated payment date is 10 Nov. still only "tracked". hopefully they pay out.
tbh it's worth a shot, as it's one of the cheapest without cash back anyway.

I use AXA for my landlord insurance, but I'd better find out what Quidco is for next year's renewal (no need to explain, I'll do a Google search).
Thank you for the information OP.

This is a good deal, but only if Quidco pay out. I had to raise a claim with them for pet insurance purchased January 2016, it's been successful but I'm still waiting for the cashback.

The Pet insurance won't have been with AXA, they don't provide that cover!!

Thanks for this.
I got quoted £110 and my renewal quote was £220 so if cashback goes through I've effectively saved £200.

Is landlord insurance really necessary? Anyone here claimed for anything?

Should the worst happen and you haven't insured your landlord, there'll be nobody to put your rent up and ignore your maintenance requests.

It is if you own and let a property and don't want to be potentially ruined in the event of a castastrophe happening to it for the sake of saving a few quid a year. It's for peace of mind and just blatantly sensible when you own a valuable asset. I haven't needed to claim for anything yet but I wouldn't sleep well at night if I didn't have the insurance. Would you risk not having buildings insurance for your own home ? I doubt it and Landlords insurance is no different to that, except Landlords don't live in the property.
did this last year, eventually quidco paid. wouldn't trust top cash back

Just cancelled my renewal and signed up with AXA.
Quote came in at £121.65 and Topcashback tracked at £94.50!
Just saved myself £132.45 off my renewal!
Thanks OP

Fantastic deal with the cashback. For what it's worth I've also found topcashback to be more reliable than Quidco.

Got a quick quote for exactly the same cover as I have with my current insurer and it is on a par price-wise but Axa is double the cashback. Shame I can't make use of it myself as I am only a third of the way through my current policy. :disappointed:

you should consider cancelling the current policy and taking a new one with AXA. Say if you are paying monthly with a quote of £110 you pay £10 a month and you have paid £40 sofar and you have £45 cashback so why not cancel. Even if you dont have the cashback yet may be still worth cancelling as this would cost so little after cashback. That's how I think.
Robbo11
1 Nov 16#37
I pay the insurance annually and there is a policy cancellation fee that would wipe out most of the £45 saving so not worth it for me.

2 Nov 16#39
Anyone know if this can be used on multiple properties?
Narcotix to kalico
2 Nov 16#41
I assume so as it does ask about the number of properties to insure when completing the quote.
valla13
2 Nov 16#42
How are you guys getting policy for £110? No where near for me
Robbo11
2 Nov 16#43
Same here. Nowhere near. I presume that £110 quote was for a low-cost rebuild property perhaps without accidental damage cover as well. I err on the side of overestimating the rebuild cost so that there is no danger of an insurance shortfall if a complete rebuild is needed but still lower than the market value of the property as the land doesn't need buying again and location, school catchment area and supply and demand don't inflate rebuild costs.

They have no reason to as they are not lending you anything, so no, they will not do a credit search.
kalico
4 Nov 161#50
Sadly not.
From the T&C's:
- Cashback will be paid only on one policy per household.
- Cashback will not be paid out on multiple policies, whether taken out at the same time or in succession.
