Was in the Durham branch of Aldi, and 12x cans of Italian Peeled plum Tomatoes reduced from £2.99 to £1.99 making these less than 17p a can, they had at least 2 pallets full at the entrance to the store, i have seen these in other Aldi stores, but no idea if it is national reduction.
Also spotted in Darlington, Pontefract, Durham Store so looks like national deal

These are very good quality tomatoes IMO. A really thick sauce and tasty, full fruit. A Bargain at £2.99, an absolute steal at£1.99.
Used them tonight with lamb kofta; superb :wink:
