The Aldi located in Thamesmead is selling Calpol Infant Suspension 100ml for £1.69 even though the shelf sticker says £2.45 and the website says £2.45 as well.
Not sure if this is a price specific for the Thamesmead store or national.
As per Aldi website this item is in-store only.

The usual price for this stuff is in the £3 region.
It was interesting that at £2.45 they were already selling it below the other retailers.
The Use By date 05/2019.
Here's the barcode:

All the pound shops sell £1 paracetamol solution for infants under various brand names made and approved in UK. Calpol is just brand name of one paracetamol solution. You can buy ibuprofen solution for £1 as well. Like paracetamol tablets, there is no difference between different brands of paracetamol solutions. Difference is only in price as Calpol is a known brand.

I totally agree but some parents say that their children don't like the taste of the pound shop versions.
The active ingredient is the same regardless but it's what they put together in it that makes the difference.

why not just get it free from your GP on a prescription?

Because it probably costs more to the NHS than £1.69
Do you go to the GP if you want a 15p pack of paracetamol?
Of course theres also the fact I would rather pay £1 than ring to make an app, go to the GP, sit around waiting to be seen, be seen, come out, go to chemist, go home.

In Scotland you can get it free on the NHS minor ailments scheme.
