Barrs soft drinks and Garvies soft drinks were basically all you could get back in 1960's /70's Scotland.
Good times.
Limeade was a favourite.
Only glass bottles.
No cans back then.
Us kids used to raid the bins for the bottles that had a return value that got you some penny caramels.
Halcyon days.

CCheers
I forgot to post yesterday after seeing it in a third store this week in a different region, found it in my iPhone and went oh yeah...
PS there was no diet - that is on in Tesco Metro at £2 for 2 x 2L - may include Extra/Superstore/Express stores ?

Nicola Sturgeon needed an emergency blood transfusion and they used Irn-bru. True story that!

Nice one thanks. Unfortunately none in our local yesterday in Rugby, Warwickshire. I know OP posted this last night but I happened to be looking for some yesterday afternoon in there so would have noticed. Maybe regional overstock? They've had a load of fanta summer fruits in 3l bottles in my local for £1 before with a short shelf life & nowhere else so may be a similar local area thing. Hot if you get some though. Thanks anyway.

Full of sugar. Does not have any health benefits rather a sugar bomb for obesity, diabetes and tooth decay.

I guarantee you eat or drink something that doesn't provide health benefits.
