24" ACER Predator GN246HLBbid
Okay, this looks a decent spec for the cash if you're after something with 3D capabilities. It's 144Hz, which is always a big bonus with a 1ms response time. Around £169.99 elsewhere on offer at the moment, so maybe worth considering this model if you're due an upgrade.
3D wise, this is active 3D, which requires the Nvidia 3D Kit, although you might be able to get a 3rd party kit for that.
This is C&C only right now with what looks like a fair few stores carrying stock. Below is a few that I checked and had stock. There's probably loads more, so worth a look if you're interested in this model

Looking at the Curry's page:
- 27” 4K (3840x2160) IPS with Zero-frame design
- Refresh rate: 144Hz, Overclock up to 175Hz
Wait that doesn't seem right, is it 4K or 144Hz? I'm sure one with both doesn't exist yet, well at this price at least.

Ahh! That's a different model that I think you're looking at. These are 24" or 28", that's the 27" that you must have scrolled down to on the 28" page  Easy done though! I made the EXACT same mistake when I was reading through before listing.

Maaan you got my hopes high, 4K and 144Hz for £449? that would have been the bargain of all bargains. Still, good price if this is what you're after for.

Yep! I was a tad confused for a moment when reading it!

I'm thinking about getting the 1080p 24" one but I don't really care about 3D I just want the refresh rate and there doesn't seem to be anything else close to the price

The 3D element is certainly a good added extra. A few years ago I had an LG Active 3D monitor and I found some 3rd party specs from China, that were really cheap. So if you ever decide to try it out, you could probably find something similar that would work with it.
But yeah, it is a decent price for a 144hz panel, it is supposed to end tonight though :disappointed:

Yeah it's a nice extra and I'd probably do that. Not sure I can be bothered to go to my local PCW/Curry's tonight though I mean its 169 on amazon and I don't have a graphics card that runs games fast enough fps to benefit yet (I have a 560ti that I plan to upgrade soon). Might wait

That 4k screen is not IPS, it is TN.

The 27 is an IPS panel, the 24 and 27 are both TN (as far as I'm aware)
