Seems like a good price for a fit watch that has been reviewed positively. I know it's Gearbestvbut personally never had any ordering issues.

I bought mine from Gearbest along with other things for around £26, I received the item from China in 10 days. I have owned all generations/revisions of the Mi Band, and so far I really like the Mi Band 2.
Mini review!:
The band is slimmer and more comfortable, the electronic unit itself is really well made. The display is perfect for simple time/stats indication. I disagree with another previous comment made by @iainmann above, the display can be read easily in sunlight (I even have a tiny screen protector installed on mine).
Software-wise there are a couple of new notification features available, though I do not use those. I also rarely use the heart-rate sensor, but it does work (though I cannot vouch for it's accuracy, I do not have a medical equipment to compare it with). The alarm/snooze feature works extremely, I am very impressed by that. The "Idle" reminder is also well appreciated.
Also, referring to the same comment above, if your iPhone is jailbroken, you can install a tweak for MiNotifier2 which gets you a lot of additional controls on the Mi Band 2, including running the heart rate sensor continuously. https://cydia.online/package/org.thebigboss.minotifier2
Overall, I love the device, I think it's a brilliant update from the previous updates, and having used Fitbits, Misfit and Nike devices in the past, I still believe this is the best value for money band on the market! Also, it shows the date and time now!
still waiting for mine 12 days after ordering. From dx.com (from China also) came in 9 days (no charges).

Ordered a few of these from Banggood for about the same price, came in 3 days can't complain. Decent device but the HR monitor is a bit off. HR jumps from 55 to 80bpm erratically.

3 days from China?? Surely you paid for an "express" service? If not, you must have set some kind of record.

3 days now that's super fast. Certainly could not have come from their China warehouse and even express delivery from their EU warehouse takes longer than 3 days I've found.
Funny, but most probably true !!

Im sure I read you can once but can't find the article. These play store apps can do it I think mi heart rate- be fit and tools and mi band. unless your relaxed and staying reasonably still the heart won't be reliable though. other than that it very good, especially battery life.

If you have an Android phone/device I think there is an app on Google play that offers this.

At the moment you can't get heart rate monitor to stay on. There are third party Android apps for earlier Mi Bands, but they don't yet work with the Mi Band 2. And there've never been iOS apps to add functions to any of the Mi Bands apart from the official Xiaomi iOS app. Another thing about the Mi Band 2 is you really can't read the screen in bright daylight...not just sunshine...but it's difficult to read even in normal cloudy daylight.
Apart from that, it's a great device. The battery lasts for weeks...mine on it's first charge is at 60% two weeks after it was fully charged. Notifications work well...as far as vibration goes. And steps and heartrate monitors seem to be as accurate as most others. Sleep monitoring is pretty good...it tells you when it thinks you went to sleep and woke up and which were periods of deep sleep and shallow sleep.
You can also buy third party wrist bands that can change the look of it.

Mi band tools works with the mi band 2 and it can monitor the heart rate continuously at 25sec intervals which is good enough for most. All I'm waiting for is an app to give walking directions from google navigation and this will do all I need and the battery life is like you say, very good
Being made in China by a Chinese company I'm guessing it monitors a lot more than your sleep pattern and footsteps? :smirk:

They may have fixed this, but the original Band's Android App asked for EVERY permission possible including making premium rate calls, reading SD Card and access to Contacts!!!!
It was also USELESS for sleep tracking - at least with the Android App - it has no manual 'sleep switch' and has NO idea when you goto bed either...
