Popped into Morrsions Welwyn Garden this afternoon for lunch and they have all of the ales that were part ofthe recent ale festival now at £1 a bottle (500ml) from £1.65. Asume that this may be national

So what were the ales reduced to £1 a bottle - this deal is completely meaningless without knowing what it's for!

You are right to be a bit sceptical. There are some 500ml beers and ales that are always on offer, and some that never are. I suspect some a brewed to a budget. Asda often have 4 bottles for £5, with a good choice of good beers.

All the beers were at £1.65 or 4 for £5. and these were part of the beer festival that they have been running for the past month or so. And now the entire range is £1 a bottle.

Confirmed in Leeds too, so must be national. Just picked up 10 Citra and some Ilkley Siberia

Thanks for posting this OP.
I've just gone to my local & picked up the last 8 bottles of Citra, 8 bottles of Double Chocolate Stout, 2 Sunburst, 1 Honey beer & 1 Shearer.
Shame that they had sold out of Ilkley Siberia but the woman on the checkout told me to keep popping in as there may be more in the warehouse :-)

not sure i like the sound of that - haven't tasted them yet but at least it's strong.
