we have the same one for over £400 about 2 or 3 years ago. wood is a bit soft, otherwise it is good.

Is this actually solid wood or the wood with laminated finish as many seem to be, also how high is the actual sleeper - if anyone has any pictures they could share would be great. Been looking for a while for a bed for the boy..

I read reviews on Amazon, and then bought bed and mattress direct here http://www.strictlybedsandbunks.co.uk/. Brilliant solid bed, amazing service, but instructions could be better. Nonethless managed to put it together and it's fab. Trying to muster the energy to stain it! They have a never ending 10% discount code on the site. Not trying to usurp this deal. Voted hot!
