Great game but way too many tank sections shoehorned in

I think it's luck whether it works now. Probably works for more than it used to. I actually played through it on release on my 750ti and X4 860k with no problems at low - medium settings, but one of my friends with a 970 and 5590 (I think) got 10fps no matter if it was on ultra or low which was weird.

This deal gained 25 votes in about 5-10 seconds. Someones been dishonest promoting this broken nvidia crap.

Can anyone give an impartial view on whether this is any good for someone who doesn't just want a game which happens to have Batman in it but wants a game which at least ALMOST lives up to the other Batman games which came before it - or is hoping for a game which comes anywhere near to those really only going to disappoint?

I find it funny that sites like this increase their prices before discounting them to make it look like a better deal. The Premium Edition (Base + Season Pass) was £8.88 yesterday. It is now £9.99 to make this price for the game and season pass separately look like a better deal.
Don't get me wrong it is a good price for the hours of content you are getting, but this now common practice wears a bit thin after a while.
Most of the issues which got a lot of press (rightly so imho) have been fixed it runs well on most systems. The issues completely over shadowed the fact this actually a decent game, up there with the other two imho. I'd place it as good as AC but not quite up there with AA. So yes it isn't just another game with Batman in, its a proper Arkham game which is up there with the other two titles in the series in terms of quality.
To backup my opinion take a look at the overall stats for the steam reviews. "Recent: Very Positive". Shows that they have worked hard to address the issues and now they have been ironed out the actual quality of the title is easier to see.

I really enjoyed it - at least as much as AA and AC and certainly more than AO. As someone else said, it may depend on what you think of the Batmobile sections. Contrary to a lot of people I enjoyed them and thought they made a good job of integrating it into the game rather than just treating it as novelty. I played it through on an R9-380X and it was fine.

I played it with a 980ti months back and near the end in the batmobile it was like playing on an ngage! hope they fixed it with £6 for the the game even with the bugs I had as 90% was playable
