My old BBQ was due a replacement and went to Wilko looking for a bargain , shelf price still £20 but price scanned down to £10. Had one set up in store and seemed quite solid with a nice bottom shelf , cooler shelf and wheels, definite upgrade on our old one. Found in Chelmsford, also had lots of smaller kettle ones for £5.

Just in case anyone else buys this, I put it together yesterday and is very solid, but it would have been far better to have had two pairs of hands, you need to attach wing nuts inside the lid and fire pit while holding the two large parts together at the same time, got a bit tricky but refused to wait till my husband got home from work

Works ok to take camping or occasional use but doesn't cook anywhere near as well as my Weber, I have the same one from Wickes. Mine doesn't have the little shelf but is otherwise identical.

Not expecting miracles, but for £10 as opposed to a Weber I think it will be fine, it also has a raised grill inside the bottom to put the charcoal on so not sitting right on the base, has to be an improvement on my old one. Will wait for a warm day to find out for sure though

Ah well so I did because I'm quite lovely  He works full time and he's doing 6 day weeks at the moment, I work part time and also I'm an impatient person, so I can't be waiting for him to get home to get things done

I have one of these for two years now and still use it. No rust and still works. Cooks well and very light to move about which means I use it more often. Weber is good but I like the shelf and lift up lid that protects the bbq from any breeze.

That's good to know, we've had our old one longer than I care to mention, to be honest but it was looking a bit too battered to bring out in front of guests any more ;)I didn't really think much could go wrong with a BBQ so I figured I'd give this one a go.
