Scandinavian countries are nice and wealthy and more developped,so when you travel from a less developed,poorer country like UK you will feel the pressure.
for their own residens,its all good. they get payed much higher than what you get here.

I went to Copenhagen this February. £9.99 + £3.99 for the return flight. It cost me more to get to the airport and back.
