Ah, good find Jack me lad. Air Asia 10 packet flight deal is the way to hop around the continent. Only wish I could take advantage of the deal, stuck in UK this winter. :-(

It's a much dirtier, islamic version of Singapore.
However it's a good start to travel around Malaysia, which is stunning if you go the right places. Being a muslim country there are some dangerous parts so research before hand.
Also AirAsia flights are dirt cheap, so you can easily visit other countries within SE Asia.

Nice find. Unfortunately I have already booked with Emirates. Following on from what manbearpig said I tend to use KL as a staging post for my travels around Asia. Having relatives there makes it easier. I much prefer KL to sterile and overpriced Singapore. You can also get to Penang, Langkawi and Melaka for no more than a few pounds. The food in Penang is fantastic.
Air Asia has enabled me to travel to Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Sarawak, Australia etc on numerous occasions for peanuts. So if you havnt been to the Far East use a deal like this to get you there. Take a side trip with Air Asia. Finally the hotels in the Far East tend to be far superior to what we are used to in GB at about a 1/3 of the cost. Book with breakfast and you are looking at around £35-£70. Fancy somewhere really nice try the Rasa Sayang in Penang or the Shangri La in Chiang Mai.

Malaysia is one of the safest countries in SE Asia. I lived there more than 10 years and never experienced any security issues there.

I'm biased as a Malaysian Chinese and I understand your comment's intention but I think your wording is slightly unfair. Malaysia's official religion has no direct effect on the crime rate and the dangerous areas. Our **** and extremely corrupted government has a far greater responsibility. Anyway, come to Penang.
