So, getting AC Syndicate and Batman for £19.48 is quite good in my opinion

I looked for that combo too, but FH2 isn't showing up in the deal and doesn't discount in the basket.

Good prices... And heat given.
Only problem for me however is that I don't tend to buy second hand games - especially from GAME - as one can never be too sure as to what the condition is like. At the same time, I have too much other stuff going on...
But Witcher 3, Street Fighter V and Doom are definitely on my "Buy (But Never Play)" list...

You can always check the disc before you leave the store. If you aren't happy, request another, if they refuse, or give you some reason not to replace or clean. Refuse the sale.

You my friend, are a lucky man. You still havent played probably the best game on this gen, yes the witcher 3 is that good imo. Throw your other games away and just get the goty ultimate edition and wave goodbye to well over 100+ hours

in the current age where the disc is only really needed for installation and then only validation. That's somewhat less of a problem....

This offer has been on with these titles for nearly a week. But the offer wasn't discounting the whole time.

I get what you're saying, and I kind of agree... But to be honest, I'm in no rush to pick up those titles as I still have too much to get on with in the meantime. Plus, I just like to have my games brand new. Yeah, I know... That makes me "difficult" as a customer, but brand new games aren't really that much more expensive than what you can get them for second hand.
GAME's offer is good. But for me, and as someone who cheaped out with CEX too often in the past, not having certain inserts (intructions, DLC codes etc) just hurt my collection in the long run. Plus, the disks weren't "brand new".

Is there any way credit on a Game card can be used online? i expect the answer is no, but it would be nice if you could. Save me the hassle of going out!

Yes you can mate, at checkout click the 'I have a gift card' tab, enter the long number and the gift card pin (under the scratch off part on the back) and you're good to go

I always open preowned games from them in store to check the discs or I'll ask to look at them before they put them and seal them up
