Thanks. I've put +1k miles on my Canyon with Aksiums and Mavic tyres and thinking I might get a winter set. Even the tyres still have tread on the edges! Seriously tempted!

you should check out superstar components for something of similar price but a bit lighter if that's what you are looking for, they often have big discounts and voucher codes.

My personal findings of cheap Mavic is poor, commuter friend had Aksium on his winter bike, went out of true 2/3 times, broke 3 spokes and then later the whole wheel basically imploded on itself. Returned to Mavic in the end, poor build.
I have some Cosmic Elite I used on my winter bike, those are somewhat better but ended up selling them and replacing with some R501, for the most part a "downgrade" but they seem perfect for the application I require them for.
I'd go for a set of these if I were buying today, £61 for me with platinum discount, otherwise £70 if you don't:
