The picture is almost certainly the Salinas Grande, near Jujuy in Argentina by the way. Close to Chile but not quite Chile.

I tried about 10 different combinations that showed as £348 initially on skyscanner's monthly calendar from Heathrow to Santiago, but they all came out around £450. It's still a good price, but I think that they have probably updated the fares to a higher price. Is anyone managing to find flights for £348?

Yes but once you click through the prices go up by about £80. The prices on the calendar are 'from' prices. There appear to be none for £348 whatsoever.

This was actually around £299 a few days ago, but as I recall it was only giving you around 5 nights in Chile.
Love Chile and Patagonia, last year I was in Torres Del Paine National Park on NYE and hiking Las Torres on new years day, amazing!
