Been looking for a good size memory stick and this one appears to tick all the boxes and at a decent price too.

Always thought when you get to this size/price a small portable 1T harddrive starts to look better value
My seagate weights/size no bigger than my phone...cost £38 on offer about double... but more than double
size and faster...

Depends on the usage. HDD's are relatively fragile compared to something like this. £/GB there is no contest though :stuck_out_tongue:

Connector is a bit flimsy tbh.
Decent though for £20.

Yep, I dropped my HDD flat from the height of my hand onto my desk whilst it was off. It was a minor drop, but enough to bust it. So, USB is definitely more robust.
You'd also be pushing it to get 150MB/s read speed from a 5400rpm 2.5 HDD.

I dropped my USB stick about the same and it broke too  Was a cheap one though from when 8gb was expensive.

Hard drives are more power hungry too if you just want something "always on" to store music centrally in your house.
Anyone had a problem with Lexar reliability?

Can it be formatted to FAT32 with no loss of GB? If yes how?
