Kellogg's Ancient Legends Cereal, (not the granola or porridge variety), seems to be around £2-£3 in the supermarkets, but Heron have it for 79p.
I found the Spelt/apple/sultana/chia and Rye/cranberry/almond/flax varieties in my local branch.
Tasty and something different for the tastebuds.

As op says, something different... but I didn't really enjoy. All the same, worth trying at this price.

I'd say that it's something like a fancy bran flakes, but the flakes are a lot thinner and crispier. Certainly wouldn't pay the supermarket price for it though.

It's nice but not as healthy as it portrays. The supermarket price is ridiculous

Agreed, but that's the case with a lot of these crazes. It's all marketing hype.

I'd question the marketing of any food item as 'ancient' ... but we'll see if it's a winner!

I like this. Great value at 79p.I stocked up when it was £1.50, I wouldn't pay the full price for such a small pack. It needs strong jaws, there's a lot of chewing involved so don't give yourself a full bowl or you'll be there all day. I suppose that does make it more economical!

I noticed that straight away.
Don't know why Kellogg's insist on using sultanas that are so tough.

I do like the Granola ones, shame it is not them on offer, but never tried the flakes.
