It also makes a lovely no-churn ice cream too. You just whip up a can of condensed milk, a pot of double cream (I use the Madagascan Vanilla variety) along with some Carte Noir Espresso powder and a few tablespoons of this and throw it in the freezer for a few hours. The alcohol means that it doesn't set too hard that you nearly break your spoon trying to scoop it out of the container. Best coffee ice cream I've ever had.

SHHHH - Swore I would only tell my sons on my deathbed but may as well let you in on the best secret ever - this drink will cure all hangovers. Not only does it taste great but mix it with MILK the morning after and give it two hours. Unless you have been on terps your head health will harmonise and life will become bearable again. Dont tell anyone...

I've never had this before, but love coffee. Is it like the baileys with coffee?
How du guys drink it ie do u mix it?

No, it doesn't have the creamy aspect of Baileys. I find it too sweet and syrupy to drink on its own. But as Livreg said, it's great for white and black russians

White russian - vodka, kahlua, cream (or milk) over ice
Black russian - vodka, kahlua, coke
Captain coffee (my own invention!) - morgan's spiced, vodka, kahlua, coke
Nice drizzled over vanilla ice cream or added to a coffee.
Interchangeable with Tia Maria.

3 parts ice cream, 1 part milk, 1 part kahlua. Blend, and serve in wine glass with a straw, topped with a spinkle of nutmeg, cinnamon or chocolate gratings.
That's the great after-dinner desert drink known as a Dom Pedro.
(Also works with whiskey, baileys, amaretto, and a host of other spirits... but coffee liquer works best IMO :sunglasses: )

I don't like coffee at all, but coffee liqueur mixed right is so nice. I love a Toblerone, Coffee liqueur, Baileys, Double cream, Frangelico and optional honey.
That's £1.43 per 100ml, where as this Morrisons deal is only £1.20 per 100 ml.

This. I don't get it. "Proof" is measured in degrees, normally percentage times two. Percent is percent is percent. "Anything% proof" is just absolute cobblers and nonsensical.
Was thinking about this, but then my other half informed me there was a bottle "at that back of the cupboard". So, I goes take a look. What do I find? An almost full 1L of Kahlua, at a decent 26.5%. According to wiki, they lowered the alcohol in 2004 down to 20%, so the bottle I just rediscovered is at least 12 years old.
You'd have think I would have known about it, having been in the cupboard for 5 years!

These flavoured liquors do not offer good value for money as they are only 26.5% alcohol as opposed to Whisky and other spirits which are normally 40%.

All gone at the New Brighton and Speke (Liverpool) stores. My daughter found some at West Kirby, priced at £8 but scanned at £6 - she said there were several left after she bought two.
As someone else commented, Morrisons are discontinuing this item

These are still labelled up at £12 in Willenhall branch, I sent hubby to get me a few bottles but he saw the tag price and left it! I went back and go it scanned and it went through at £6 a bottle. Note to oneself, if you want something doing, do it yourself. There were still several bottle left of the shelf.

I've been hiding in that cupboard for years, and I've never spotted it, so don't beat yourself up - and I mean it - I've traipsed wedding parties through that cupboard. And don't get me wrong! I'm not knocking about with your wife or nottink, I've just got a thing about cupboards and one day she just "opened the door" so to speak, and 'my people' take advantage of that sorta thing.
