It's a good water repellent spray. So after I've washed my bike I spray it on the bolt heads (ie, around seatpost) and then spray it on a cloth to polish the frame of the bike. Never use it near the components that make you go or stop as it is a degreaser as well as mild lubricant, so it'll break down any oils/grease on chains/bearings and if it's on your brake pads you'll find your brakes take a lot longer to stop!!
It does leave a nice PTFE coating on my frame, so it makes cleaning the bike the next time easier and shiny between washes.

What's this stuff like compared to WD40?

I`d say WD was best for things already stuck, seized, rusted etc., and GT best for stopping the the aforementioned happening in the first place.

I have been using this for years in preference to WD 40 for cleaning and waterproofing.motorcycle, car, tools etc.
Good price too if you can get some

It's much better for keeping things lubricated as WD40 tend sto evaporate and dry up really quickly, this doesn't.

If WD40 was the inventor's 40th attempt at the correct formula to achieve Water Displacement (WD), What did this guy achieve with 85 attempts?

working day 40. as in it lasts 40 days. if you wanna release seized bolts use plusgas, much better stuff.
heat given, I need more of this stuff, great for the bike, I use it to clean all the mechanical bits before oiling.
