Daily deal. Wow although 1070 is slightly better, its a lot more expensive than this! Im on a 970 and wanted a 1070 but might just go for this as I only play 1080p gaming until i buy a 2.5k monitor.
Also 2% quidco and $115 paragon in game currency selling for £12 on auction site. You get the code with the item.

The person who liked my comment clearly disagrees.

Outrageous deal. And Playstation peasants are getting excited because they can spend £350 for the second time in three years to finally get 1080p 60fps...

£300 vs £350, not much in it. Over a couple of years, there'd be about a £20+ difference in power consumption, too, which narrows the gap further! :man:
I voted "Hot", but I'd still recommend the little extra for a significantly-faster 1070.

Perhaps they're just enjoying the games . .
Thanks OP; way beyond my needs, but ordered, nonetheless.

Amazing deal. Very similar performance to a 1070 but far cheaper. HOT

£50 in it realistically. Since that's a small margin I would definitely get the 1070, newer architecture albeit evolutionary rather than revolutionary and definitely longer driver support. An extra £50 for the 1070 goes a long way. I personally wouldn't touch a 980Ti for £300 now, needs to be at least another £50 cheaper.

Why would you go from a 970 to this for 1080p gaming? Madness....

To reliably obtain 1080p60Hz on highest settings...the 970 doesn't sustain 1080p60Hz at highest settings in some of the latest titles.
