If you order Gears of War 4 digital from the Microsoft website you get £10 credit that can be used to buy £10 worth of Xbox points.
Effectively makes it £39.99 if you plan to use the Xbox credit in the future,
I have purchased this but didn't get the £10 code from Microsoft via email, i just went on live chat and they gave it to me straight away as they said i should have got it with the game code email.
Once they gave me the £10 Microsoft store credit i just used it to buy £10 of Xbox credit.

Has anyone had the £10 added to their account?
I checked my balance which I thought was at £0 but it was actually at £50 so I don't know what's happened. Not sure why I would have bought a £50 voucher to then get gears if I had enough in my account. :P

Today is the day of release and they have dropped the game down to £41.75.
have just bought the digital version today. On Chat they have confirmed the £10 voucher will be added to my Microsoft account release day, or day after latest.

I'm a little baffled by your reply because, generally, everyone knows what game share and Play Anywhere are. They're both based on DIGITAL purchases only. Play Anywhere is Microsoft's deal where, if you buy digitally, you get both Xbox One and Windows 10 versions. Game sharing is something very well known to the Xbox community at this point, too, as it's used to share games between Xbox consoles. It's used by a number of people, just like my link demonstrated (brothers sharing their games). And hey, Play Anywhere is the same as crossplay on PS4/PS3/Vita, too. Heck, even Nintendo has some crossplay digital titles.
Just to reiterate, if you buy physical games, you've never had the option to "game share" with any game company, except maybe random titles like Mario Kart, etc. etc. But, I guess those were more local-based sharing.
To be honest, reading your post back, it really sounds like you didn't know what P.A. was. Also, I didn't ignore "the first line" of your post. All it says is, "Only the disc version is £46.99." Sounds like you're just mentioning the price, for whatever reason. And your next line sounds like you don't think the game could be game shared or would feature play anywhere.
Honestly, you just didn't make it clear that you meant physical media can't be... uhm... shared :P Hmm...........

4 Oct 16#68
Sorry if you ignored the first line of my post. What I was saying is that the disc version was the only version priced at £46.99 and cannot be gameshared and as far as I know the disc version is also not playanywhere.
If you somehow know of a way to gameshare a disc please enlighten everyone.
I think it's safe to assume Microsoft will not be giving a free digital copy away with every disc copy and the disc will not work in a pc so no playanywhere. Likewise if you know better please enlighten everyone.

I may have been able to get this for just over £30 for the Digital Copy! I managed to stacking a few offers, I'll reply later if the cashback is confirmed -
- Used a 5% off MS Store Promo - gave me £5 off! - getting it down to £44.99
- TopCashback are offering 7.07% Cashback on "Apps and Games purchases" - Not too sure if they will give me this due to the other 2 offers, but its worth a try!
- £10 Promo Credit (Contacted the live chat and they said I should still receive it)

A quick google search shows that you're wrong on both counts. Play anywhere was announced at e3 for GoW4 and is being advertised on Xbox.com - http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/games/gears-of-war-4
Also, if you look, there are people who have game shared their purchase - Gears Of War 4 game sharing bug Though, perhaps not the DLC.

I essentially bought it digitally for PC & Xbox for £31.42
Bought a £40 & £10 card from CDKeys for £42.35 - £0.93 Quidco - £10 Microsoft Credit
My 5% Facebook discount seems to have glitched on CDKeys. it showed in the Paypal basket at checkout but after going back to my e-mails its showing the full price paid.
I have contacted CDKeys about it, doubt they will do anything.
Should I be a scrooge and open a Paypal dispute if they don't honour it?
Edit:
CDKeys gave me a partial refund equivalent to the 5% discount I should have recieved.
I have updated my figures above it sure if my Quidco will still refund 93p since the order value changed but it has tracked at that amount.

Digitally Pre-Ordered on my Xbox One on Thursday. (So i'm probably not eligible on that technicality)
