I'm not actually sure this is a deal. Pound shops and eBay have ones like this for a pound. It will most likely half charge a modern phone and break within a few weeks. Just a hunch.

Good deal... Based on what... You buy a £1.40 paper and then presumably in most cases have to drive to a store to get a "free" £1 item...?!

Assuming it's this one then it's not a BoD deal, I assume it'll come with a 12 months warranty so you'll get at least a year's use out of it.
