Go for Henry. Larger dust capacity and suction. Even the newer 620watt ones are better.

Do not buy one of these for carpets they are appalling and upright is far better this just gets stuck to the carpet and doesn't move .
More designed for hard floors .
I bought one and it's useless for my house still got 4.5 years warranty used once .tesco wouldn't take it back within 28 days .

These hoovers are good for a few months but after that they lose there power and not the same anymore .

dc40 animal gets blocked far too often and hence has to be totally taken apart I have done this now 4 times. Despite being named animal it is not fit for purpose as the animal hair blocks the very narrow pipes. Better vacuums out there trust me.

I don't even have animals and had to take the whole thing apart, including the plastic pipes connecting to the unit, it was an absolute pain getting all the fluff and crap that had blocked up (very poor design) but got the suction back after clearing out the connectors. Wished I had waited to get an offer on an upright :disappointed:
