What is better for an apartment.. Matt or silk finish?
Is the difference noticeable between the 2 as well?

Matt is a bit flat where as silk has a bit of a sheen to it and is easier to wipe..I'd go for silk.

If your walls or ceilings are a bit rough then silk will highlight this,Matt is more forgiving

Yeah, unless your walls are freshly plastered or somehow perfect I'd always opt for matt finish.

If your worried about cleaning/ wiping of the paint ,I would recommend Dulux endurance, although it is not cheap

Just a heads up this paint is NOT a vinyl emulsion, 90% of emulsions USED to be Vinyl emulsions.
A vinyl emulsion is tougher and cleans better than NON vinyl emulsion, it is also thicker and cover better and is now usually a fair bit dearer.
Thanks to OP for post
