Cheap for a reason - highest rainfall in whole year(september) + Zika virus

30c average temperature and a chance of a couple of rainy days a month over the grey British weather... and Zika is low risk as is the majority of the Caribbean.
It's cheap because it's a last minute flight deal and Thomson are trying to fill spaces on their flights departing in the next few weeks.

Amazing price without DOUBT! Always factor in Thomson`s back door additional baggage charges though, 60 quid for 20kg, 25kg is 80 sovs. Still, Caribbean flights for less than £300 is fab.
It's true that Thompson's often have cheap flight deals at times to fill seats but health sites are stating that Dominica republic is currently high risk for the zika virus.

More than a couple of rainy days , October has an average of 10 to 14 days that rains , now it might only rain for an hour or so . The temps will be around 24-28 . And yes Zika like a few of the Caribbean islands , even Cancun has had 1 case of Zika

Yes and so does Singapore, Thailand, Barbados, Mexico, Antigua, Fiji.. the list goes on. These countries have always had high risk of Malaria, Dengue fever etc you just have to be careful and wear Mosquito repellent. It's just the fact of travel, always has been and always will. No one is forcing you to go - it's still an excellent deal to an exotic location which you'd usually have to spend a lot more money getting to.

Save your money . Place is a dive. It's Caribbean on the cheap. And dangerous. Better off going to Portugal or Spain this time of year and you'll be safer
