a great JRpg that will keep you occupied for hours
LOG-IN TO SOLVE A DIGITAL MYSTERY INFECTING THE REAL & DIGITAL WORLDS!
Set in the near future, the line between the real and digital worlds is blurred. Logging into cyberspace is part of everyday life. A harmless on-line chat spawns a chance encounter with a mysterious hacker for one teenager. Little did this teen know, this brief meeting would lead to a digi-monumental adventure.
In Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, scan, raise, and train your faithful Digimon companions to battle by your side against a group of hacker criminals.
Do you have what it takes to crack this digi-case?

Sunk over 80 hours into this so much value!
I don't however have the dlc listed above as mine was physical and not day one.
Heat for you!

Got bored playing it. Felt the world wasn't at all immersive and there were too many barriers. Some may like the digital thing but it wasn't for me.

Hmm mixed reviews in here. Is this similar to any other JRPGs? So I can decide myself..

Well - Hope with this deal PVP gets a bit more active...
Bought my own in PSN store time ago , on same price reduction together with J-Stars. As huge Digimon world fanatic, who has been playing them since Digimon World 1 on PSone, I must say - this might be the most disappointing one. I mean - fight mehanics and evolutions are awesome, BUT storyline with enormous dialogues is just out of touch...Sidequests is quite annoying as well. Returning to dialogues - seems like nobody really paid attention for them to work properly, since there has been few glitches in dialogues I noticed and animation in them is just awful... Not even talkin about dialogues itself...
Literally I finished game just because I wanted to have all digimon evolutions unlocked for PVP , which sadly is quite a bit dead at the moment. If you dont intend to compete online for a bit , then I wouldnt recommend to bother buying game.

It is Probably one of the best digimon game to come out, not really a stellar feat, but it's something. I thought the problem was too much talking I only ever want to fight with my digimon get Some new ones and fight some more, not sit through some kiddy story. Regardless, the mechanics are good And if you like digimon even a bit, it's a steal at this price. I bought this @full price. Just remember it's a port from a vita game so expect a handheld game.

I absolutely love it, have it for Vita, will return to it when I can put down God Eater 2 (and resurrection) but I think it's definitely worth it at that price. Only stopped playing it for awhile because I was trying to grind out my Vademon for the Nightmare skill then into PlatinumNumeon (not a requirement, just something I wanted to do). And it plays beautiful on Vita.
