Bit of deal and code stacking if you have a sweet tooth, this is an online only deal and you will need to click and collect next day to get the quoted prices. You need to add code XXLPLA at checkout
Option 1: The chocolate cartons are on a BOGOF. You can get 8 cartons of Quality Street/Celebrations - so 4 cartons of celebrations and 4 cartons of Quality streets, over 2 kg chocolate for £5. If you prefer cartons of Heroes, Roses, Wine Gums, Jelly Baby's, All sorts you can get 6 cartons for £6
You know, (and yes I know how boring I'm going to sound ) this consistent joke about eating chocolate and somehow developing diabetes is extremely disrespectful and ignorant to those people who have the disease.
I don't understand how it can constantly come up so freely, we wouldn't make jokes about cancer like this (yes, diabetes can also be life threatening).
My daughter was diagnosed with diabetes (type 1) when she was 8 and I assure you it had nothing to do with her sugar intake. So I hope you can understand where I am coming from.
I'm not aiming this at you personally, FD. It's an ongoing joke that I've never understood <3

Hello to the fellow HUKD at the Bradford store who also got 4 of the massive tubs instead of 8 boxes! Result for us both - Sister also got 24 coke for £4. And then the next day I got my Vodka - one happy bunny here. 1 box already gone too as my 11 year old son gave it his "friend" (girl) for her birthday

Update: After receiving a phone call about cancellation. I went to the same store and found out that there were hundreds of boxes on the display. Asked the staff and they told me that these boxes are on sale since early in the morning.
I rang to the same number from inside the store and the lady came out and after some argument, she let me placed new order with the same offer.
But before placing an order, she mentioned that people abuse the system. Don't know, how we abuse the system?

My click & collect order was to be picked up between 8-10am today, but didn`t get there till 10.30, was only a little express (Had never been there before) When I went upto the desk, they said groceries are collected from a Tesco van in car park! So off I trundled to look in the car park, no van....ho hum I`v blown it. Quick call to Tesco and told to go back between 12-2pm, luckily was still in area. Went back & saw van in car park & he still had my chocs. He has to wait 2 hours for peeps to collect then go & get the next batch....It turns out the main store which I tried to collect from but was out of stock uses the same centre as the litlle store I collected from? Anyway all good, got my chocs.
Thanks Chanchi - will be a treat for all my neices & nephews, might have 1 box left to keep...:stuck_out_tongue:

not sure exactly how this happened but I got 12 cartons of the QS 265g chocolates for £3
isn't that a bit cheaper than you said, Chanchi?
they messed up my wife's order & cancelled it, the Tesco guy was very apologetic (esp since they had plenty of product, just that it was marked 'off sale') and said somebody should have phoned me to save a wasted journey plus he said something about cancelling the service charge on my order - I've got a feeling he bunged me a carton of 6 as an extra to keep me sweet  not that he said he was doing that lol
anyway - 25p each - beat that!
Conchiron
22 Sep 16#294
Yep, exactly, although with the £4 charge on baskets under £40, it's more of a £3 off £40 shop.
In this case the sweets are pretty cheap before the voucher, tubs are ~750g and the cartons are ~250g. £4 on cartons = ~1kg, 750g tubs are usually on promotion for that or sometimes maybe a little less, and when you add the voucher on top, it's even better of a deal.
coxy76
22 Sep 16#293
I mean do they automatically find the brand match or do you have to tell them? and if so when
I always like to get one extra in case they feck up and either scan something twice or don't have a 4p piece of ginger in stock

All or OP,
Is brand match OK on click+collect?
i.e. I buy 2 x 1ltr Russian Standard at £19 a bottle = £38
10 fillers totalling £2 (that aren't cheaper at Sainsbobs)
Use code for £7 off - Go to collect, Pay £33 - £8 brandmatch = £25 for 2 litres of Russian Standard?
Many thanks
A long time glitcher nearly retired haha!

There is no need to get rid of the £4 charge, if you added this deal to a £40 shop the chocolates would essentially be £1, but with the charge it comes to £5

As someone who suffers with type 2 diabetes, I don't find it offensive at all.
90-95% of diabetic patients are type 2 diabetics. Research has shown that around 60% of those cases of type 2 diabetes could have been prevented if those patients were of a normal weight.
So the inference that eating lots of junk like chocolate can lead to diabetes is not so much a misguided one.
And that's from me, a 22 stone woman who was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes (due to being morbidly obese at 24 stone), who has completely reversed it's effects in the last couple of months by implementing a healthier lifestyle, and now has a decreasing waistline and normal blood sugar levels...

Just picked up my 8 boxes - the Tesco man said I was the 3rd person in 15 minutes to collect an order. Was it Hot Deals by any chance? He implied that Tesco are aware of it and getting rid of a lot of chocolates that isn't Christmas stock i.e. expiry date is only Feb 2017 whereas the Christmas stock is Aug 2017 (dates are approx). Incidentally - my Celebrations are Feb 2017 and Quality Street are Aug 2017.

So are stacks of other things (and so is a load of stuff half price which is tantamount to the same thing). Why unnecessarily imply this only applies to chocolates? This code applies to all purchases, which is the point. There are equally good deals for people who want nappies, cheese, wine, or even the weekly shop they were going to buy anyway - so they are likely to walk straight on past the thread, which is a pity and a waste (as far as they are concerned).
Why not just post as "£7 off your next click and collect at Tesco - stacks with BOGOF etc." and then present some alternatives within the post body (and making clear the choice you have regarding either accepting or avoiding the £4 low basket charge, which has confused everyone since the start of the thread)?
Anyway, I'm pleased I did read in even though I can't be doing with chocolate as I too have now benefited (for which I am grateful, no offence intended to the OP for my feedback on the presentation of the deal).

Nice code, which is the key point here (and it's a bit of a pity that has been kind of hidden by the chocolate suggestion).
You've got two choices- keep the order value low and let the £7 off minus £4 low value charge give you £3 off a small basket, or stretch the order out to £40 and take all £7. I went for the latter - 8 bottles of Hardy's Crest (£7 each but on 2 for £10). Full price order would be £56, I paid £33 (£4.12 per bottle). Happy with that, have some heat OP.

i don't know the person but it might not have been a joke.
And you can develop diabetes and get obese by eating lots of stuff like this.
if you eat it occasionally you are probably ok. the best thing to eat as less as possible of this stuff.

To get it working I went to the offers page, added the 8 cartons so it showed £8 then follow it through to after the warning of the £4 delivery charge, then it will go to the delivery page again. When on this page, go directly back to the deals page (Hold down the previous page button, usually) then delete the items out of your cart, add them again and the offer will show. Then direct click forward (Hold down the forward page button, usually) to the latest page and you can click proceed to payment and add the voucher on the next page. Going through for me as £5.

showing as BOGOF in the initial selection .. then when going to the confirm payment and enter code screen it's charging me full price for the chocs.. hence the £16 + £4 ... -£7 = £13 (quick bit of maths there for you) to pay :disappointed: tried it about 4 times and it's the same each time

Opening post
Option 1: The chocolate cartons are on a BOGOF. You can get 8 cartons of Quality Street/Celebrations - so 4 cartons of celebrations and 4 cartons of Quality streets, over 2 kg chocolate for £5. If you prefer cartons of Heroes, Roses, Wine Gums, Jelly Baby's, All sorts you can get 6 cartons for £6
http://www.tesco.com/groceries/SpecialOffers/SpecialOfferDetail/Default.aspx?promoId=A32069681
Option 2: 1.3kg Quality street tin for £4
http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=284743930
Option 3: 24 cans of coca cola for £4
http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=273867627
Option 4: £40 grocery shop of your choice for £33

I rang to the same number from inside the store and the lady came out and after some argument, she let me placed new order with the same offer.
But before placing an order, she mentioned that people abuse the system. Don't know, how we abuse the system?
Had ordered 8 x 240g of celebrations for £5 after discounts. Just come back from picking up and was given 4 x 750g tubs instead as they had run out of the boxes.

Sorry, this eCoupon cannot be accepted as it has already been used the maximum number of times.
Mrs went to collect was expecting 8 boxes
But I only added 4 in total
£4 cc and £7 off code
Unsure but that's how much I have paid
I tried to add at checkout code XXLPLA and it says 'Your order has not qualified to redeem this eCoupon' Why is that? I ordered 4 boxes of Celebrations and 4 boxes of Heros?
Have anyone experienced such problem?
8 boxes for Quality street.
8 boxes for Celebrations

Your order has not qualified to redeem this eCoupon.
Thanks!
Sorry, this code could not be accepted, as the code has been mistyped or is invalid."
Seems its ended, luckily I just got it in time.
:disappointed:
isn't that a bit cheaper than you said, Chanchi?
they messed up my wife's order & cancelled it, the Tesco guy was very apologetic (esp since they had plenty of product, just that it was marked 'off sale') and said somebody should have phoned me to save a wasted journey plus he said something about cancelling the service charge on my order - I've got a feeling he bunged me a carton of 6 as an extra to keep me sweet  not that he said he was doing that lol
anyway - 25p each - beat that!
In this case the sweets are pretty cheap before the voucher, tubs are ~750g and the cartons are ~250g. £4 on cartons = ~1kg, 750g tubs are usually on promotion for that or sometimes maybe a little less, and when you add the voucher on top, it's even better of a deal.
tho you wouldnt need 10 fillers but only 9 them since the vokda would count as 1 item :P
I just used it to buy some PAMPERS nappies.
>Pampers nappies £8 BOGOF
>Stacked with XXLPLA (£7 off)
>Stacked with clubcard baby club voucher (£1 off pampers)
So only payed the £4 basket fee for 88 nappies
Is brand match OK on click+collect?
i.e. I buy 2 x 1ltr Russian Standard at £19 a bottle = £38
10 fillers totalling £2 (that aren't cheaper at Sainsbobs)
Use code for £7 off - Go to collect, Pay £33 - £8 brandmatch = £25 for 2 litres of Russian Standard?
Many thanks
A long time glitcher nearly retired haha!
if you don't have a click n collect , take a months free trial of delivery pass . I got mine with free delivery Diet Coke and sweets worked out at £15 saving. So got two x Diet Coke 24,s for nothing !!!
unfortunately not available when I log in - but heat added for those that can get it!
you probably won't take advantage of this offer:-)
Thx
Why not just post as "£7 off your next click and collect at Tesco - stacks with BOGOF etc." and then present some alternatives within the post body (and making clear the choice you have regarding either accepting or avoiding the £4 low basket charge, which has confused everyone since the start of the thread)?
Anyway, I'm pleased I did read in even though I can't be doing with chocolate as I too have now benefited (for which I am grateful, no offence intended to the OP for my feedback on the presentation of the deal).
any tips?
Got an extra £6 off via Top Cash Back by registering as a new customer. No worried about loosing some Tesco club card points.
Including the delivery charge, this worked out almost free.
Also got a free sample of Ariel and some other softener product with it
Will save some and sell them on board a BA flight in January as a second meal service
so how does it work does momey come out on the day
You've got two choices- keep the order value low and let the £7 off minus £4 low value charge give you £3 off a small basket, or stretch the order out to £40 and take all £7. I went for the latter - 8 bottles of Hardy's Crest (£7 each but on 2 for £10). Full price order would be £56, I paid £33 (£4.12 per bottle). Happy with that, have some heat OP.
Great response re Diabetes. Don't these idiots realise that some of us will be using these as gifts and not consuming 2kg of chocolate in one sitting?
Wonder what the substitutions will be...?
sweets not really good for you on the first place not to mention it can cause cavities in your teeth.
I'm against this but I eat sweet stuff sometimes too.
Nobody's perfect:-)
Cashback has already tracked but always a like dubious if it will be paid. Fingers crossed

And you can develop diabetes and get obese by eating lots of stuff like this.
if you eat it occasionally you are probably ok. the best thing to eat as less as possible of this stuff.
I actually never buy this but I don't say this is the only way to do it.
ordered, few pressies sorted
So got 24 cans of coke instead for £4
I got 8 celebrations and 2 heroes cartons for £11.90 delivered. Considering they're usually £3 a carton, I'm pretty happy.

8 x 240g Celebrations for a fiver
Then there is the £4 "collection" fee to argue about if you don't want to pay full price for the chocolates...
Order was well over £40 anyway and home delivery charge of a £1 so technically got £6 off but as they say every little helps
Mind you have a feeling HUKD has sent Tesco's website into meltdown as it kept crashing and not displaying pages properly whilst I was on it...
do I have to order these for tomorrow or will they honour it for any day within the time frame of the BOGOF deal ?
got charged the £4 for not spending £40, oh and I received my coupon today for £4 .. added that to it so 8 boxes of Q st cost me £1 ... couldn't even do that in the pound shop!!!! nice one Mr Chichi  if you weren't already a legend I'd vote for your VIP haha
The £7 off code makes up for it and then takes off an extra £3 totalling £5 instead of the original £8 cost.
£9 for 8 boxes.
