I have. I think the texture changes a bit and it becomes more crumbly but still tastes fine.

Unless I'm miscalculating this is £5.50 /kg which is a decent price but not great. Waitrose were selling their essential cheddar range for under a fiver last week, probably still are.

Equivalent or better is less than 1,50 (pro rata) at Aldi, however if you want a smaller piece, it' still a steal
