Just had incredibly good food at the Harvester in Bromsgrove! All 50% off! Excellent service, beautifully tender rotisserie chicken, melt in the mouth ribs, can't fault any of it! Also got some FREE ice cream!

We had a meal tonight at our local. Worst meal i have ever had. The BBQ ribs were just plain ribs with no BBQ sauce. We get told that it's just the table sauce they smear on them after they are cooked. So I am expected to finish your job that you're paid to do. Also sauces that come on the plate were missing, chips were awful, chicken quarter was quarter of a quail, pepper was burnt, chorizo sausage was burnt and the gammon bite (not half a gammon steak as it's meant to be) was also burnt. Can't forget the flat coke either
Well done harvester!

Sounds like you had the meal I had. Yes it was a lot smaller than I expected. Wish I'd taken a picture for a review! Chips were nice though.

You can stack the quidco with your "Everyday Offers" cashback when paying with a Bank of Scotland, Halifax or Lloyds debit card. I've seen 15% cashback on offer for Harvester through that so worth logging in and checking yours to activate it.

50% off food means you get a half size portion. A better deal would be 50% off the price of food or 50% off the bill.

Booked a table, thanks OP. This is to launch their new menu, which will probably be more expensive. My local is not launching it yet but they are still offering the 50% discount.

I received an email about this a couple of days ago, had an alert pop-up on my phone from the Harvester app that I installed a few months back to take advantage of an offer, and also had a friend tell me about the deal so I think as a promotion it's been quite heavily pushed...
which to be honest has totally put me off taking advantage this time around as the 'service' at my local Harvester is average at best even on a quiet day, when it's busy in there it's an absolutely awful experience at any price, they're frequently clearly understaffed and not only are the wait times terrible but everyone feels so rammed in that during your extended visit you're subjected to a cacophony reminiscent of a busy school canteen.
I haven't bothered to check availability of tables but even if there was one spare I really wouldn't want to subject myself to the experience. For me Harvester food is of an average standard but a bit over-priced so unless the car park's half empty and I can use some kind of promotion I'll prefer to give it a miss and either cook myself or go elsewhere.

This isn't much of a deal. Only saving a couple of quid max. Just banter to get people through the doors
Babbler to xhdjdhs
28 Sep 162#11
So you usually only have a £4 starter then to only save a couple of quid?? A main meal is usually a tenner. So you save a fiver on that. If you are a party of 4 having just mains that's a £20 saving.!
