10,000 x £5 discount codes to be used on one year 16-25 Railcards.
This is the biggest discount (16%) out there, so grab a code now and get yourself a railcard for the lowest price in the UK.
All codes need to be redeemed by Sun 2 Oct.
With a railcard (which will cost just £25 with one of our codes) you'll get a third off the price of train travel for a year. That means the railcard will have basically paid for itself after your first couple of journeys.

you can also purchase any railcard with £15 of Tesco club card points.
Must be so over 18 and be paying in £500 a term and register for Internet banking which is a bit annoying considering my son is 16 and needs to get the train to college. :disappointed:

Although I'm sure your parents would give you £25 cash for £50 of pizza express/prezzo food vouchers that you could get instead.

Sadly you actually have to be a student to get one of these. Merely holding an NUS card doesn't count.

You can get them as a mature student but you have to prove you are attending college for the minimum amount of hours

Ah, so maybe you must either be genuinely 16-25 or genuinely a student.

But do you have to spend a minimum £12 on a ticket to get a discount?

Not strictly, but a £12 minimum fare applies on all journeys made between 04:30 and 10:00 Monday to Friday
That means if you're travelling before 10am your ticket cannot be discounted to anything below £12 (rules out most commuting). You can use the discount for travel after 10am on weekdays, or at any time on weekends, bank holidays and during July and August.
