They werent sure so I just ended up using a Meerkat code so paid for my mum and child free.

If you have a child with a disability you can apply for a CEA card which allows the carer (you) to go free anytime and anyday

What was Odeon reply to you?

I haven't got a cea card so Icalled odeon to see whether I have to pay for my child or whetero he would be free. Basically I have a disabled child and one adult goes free but I'm not sure if I should risk it or just get use my 241 code.

I'm guessing you either need an NUS card or some sort of student ID from the place you are studying. I was also wondering about whether there would be problems since it says in the T&C:

For 5 tickets, I had to enter 5 different codes at the checkout to get a discount for everyone.

i.e. each code will discount only one ticket, so you have to enter multiple codes for multiple tickets.

We saw Pete's Dragon - an average film, so pleased I didnt pay first price.

2 tickets in my basket but its only giving discount for one of them :S

Suicide Squad was rubbish but I quite enjoyed the Shallows.

Every film I wanted to see this summer has been ravaged by the crititcs, namely suicide Squad & The Shallows. It's about time the Studios stated making films for adults again, rather than kids. If they had given Suicide Squad an 18 certificate it could have done justice to the subject (dark) matter.

The price varies depending on the cinema. Cineworld has a deal on Sunday called Movies for Juniors and the movie costs £1.50-£1.80 per person for a selected few films for kids

Have to get 1 code per ticket. Otherwise it only gives discount per ticket. Just keep going back and get another code. Thanks op.

Southampton cinema deal is £12.50 for the ticket+popcorn+drink.

They also put their prices up by £1 at the beginning of the summer. Absolute ripoff.

There's no surprise less and less people are going to the cinema. Last time I went with the family, I had to mortgage my house.
