Oh, just realised you have a screen shot of an order - it wasn't there when I started typing my comment. Great if it goes through!!

I got a number of codes yesterday when the offer was posted by someone else (but it was removed by mods. for some reason). Son and friends like the IMAX screenings so he got some too.

Southampton cinema deal is £12.50 for the ticket+popcorn+drink.

They also put their prices up by £1 at the beginning of the summer. Absolute ripoff.

There's no surprise less and less people are going to the cinema. Last time I went with the family, I had to mortgage my house.

It only takes off £4.50 off the £12.50 deal. *sigh*

The price varies depending on the cinema. Cineworld has a deal on Sunday called Movies for Juniors and the movie costs £1.50-£1.80 per person for a selected few films for kids

Shame Odeon are run down flea pits.

Every film I wanted to see this summer has been ravaged by the crititcs, namely suicide Squad & The Shallows. It's about time the Studios stated making films for adults again, rather than kids. If they had given Suicide Squad an 18 certificate it could have done justice to the subject (dark) matter.

Suicide Squad was rubbish but I quite enjoyed the Shallows.

Booked online

For 5 tickets, I had to enter 5 different codes at the checkout to get a discount for everyone.

i.e. each code will discount only one ticket, so you have to enter multiple codes for multiple tickets.

We saw Pete's Dragon - an average film, so pleased I didnt pay first price.

And what ID needed for student? I have no NUS card etc

I haven't got a cea card so Icalled odeon to see whether I have to pay for my child or whetero he would be free. Basically I have a disabled child and one adult goes free but I'm not sure if I should risk it or just get use my 241 code.

They werent sure so I just ended up using a Meerkat code so paid for my mum and child free.
Would I need to register the CEA card for myself then as a carer? Thanks

Additionally, limitations placed on Cinemas by their local licenses require children and young people under 8 years of age to be accompanied by a responsible person; consequently applications for cards can only be considered for people who are 8 years of age or older.
