Good price for store collection, but home delivery is £2.99 extra (orders <£29).

The under £30 delivery completely slipped my mind, suppose you could preorder it with FIFA 17 :smirk:

Easy not to notice, to be honest, given that they don't add the delivery cost until late in the checkout process!

Yeah, I've had a few companies like that recently, and they don't add it until after you've filled out all your details, which can be annoying

The RRP is £29.99, much like with Ratchet and Clank - that in itself doesn't mean that it's going to be a bad game.

Yeah its pretty alarming to say the least.

It's a shame that people tend to associate quality with asking price and also price with the size of the studio/budget spent. Indies shouldn't be the same price as AAA games and AAA games should be less than £40 or they must be rubbish. I did it myself when this game first appeared to have an RRP of £30, in my mind it makes me think the publishers are not confident in their product but I shouldn't think like that. There have been many good games that get pretty much ignored at launch but become big sellers when the price drops. The industry and us need to get out of the mindset that lower RRP is bad, I think some games would do a lot better launching at a lower price.

Agreed. At that price this game will be seriously lacking in content. It won't be on my shopping list. Just another stocking filler for Microsoft's e3 show

Why is a budget release "alarming"? Surely it's a good thing to see publishers exploring other price-points than £49.99! As I mentioned above, Ratchet and Clank on PS4 (for example) was similarly released at retail at £29.99 and was very well-received.
If you're referring to the discount that this has from its RRP, well, first bear in mind that this is using a single-retailer promotional discount, doesn't include shipping and then also by comparison, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, which by all accounts will be excellent, has an RRP of £44.99 and is readily available for less than £35.

What? You're bashing your expectation on the price and of the game? Does that mean if they were charging 50 you'd expect brilliance?
The best games I've played over the last few years have been Ori and the Bind Forest and Life is Strange. Both were comparatively cheap but both were fantastic. What's to say that ReCore can't also be, irrespective of price ?

Sorry. My comment was entered against the wrong post. Obviously it was msranger that was the spark for my reply.

Nice price. Think I will wait on this one as the gameplay trailer didn't impress me. Was very excited for this game but will see. If anyone wants to watch the Gamescom Gameplay Trailer
Most of the enjoyable games on the Xbox one are the lower budget cheap rrp, life is strange and ori put most full price games to shame and recore may follow the same pattern.

Just ordered mine, heat added, thnx
I'm happy with the gameplay vids I saw at Gamescom.
Don't get why some people are complaining over the price point, you guys might wanna do some research to find out why it's priced at £29.99 before you start bashing a game that's £20 cheaper (technically £25 in this case) than your standard game and it's not even out yet.
Seriously how much did most of you paid for COD:AW, COD: Ghost, The Order or even The Division huh?!
