Then you buy two. Mate holds on to ladder 2 from the top of ladder 1. Obviously.

What? Possibly the most moronic comment I've seen on this site.

As someone who uses ladders, these will get you up to your top windows (average house size) but won't reach your gutters, they will be awkward to use and flimsy. Price is OK for the occasional DIY job.
TBH I'd rather spend my money on these. A metre lower but much more versatile. If you need to work any higher I'd buy better quality. You don't need class 2 for DIY, these will be fit for purpose but no good for regular use.
Falling from height is never fun (I speak from experience, fractured skull, broken shoulder). If you know nothing then get someone else to do the job for you.

At 4.7m fully extended you are going to need very long arms to reach anything!

You will be able to reach everything that is at least 4m above ground depending on how tall you are and your angle of lean for the ladder. That could be considerably more than you can reach without a ladder lol. The ladder I bought though I think is better as it's also 3 section but can be used as steps as well.

I got mine for £29.99 from Aldi about two and a half years ago. Marked at £39.99 but went through the till for a tenner less. They must have been getting rid at the time. It's not bad but it's not perfect either and the stupid safety catches make it near impossible to slide the ladder up from closed. It's like you need three hands. I stopped mine from locking in the closed up position in the end because it was such a pain. Saying that used it loads for work and came in real handy when I didn't need the bigger ladders. Ones I bought was a combination set which may be different from these.
