No, just a custom version of Android made by the community. A lot of people would say is better. If your not techy, it doesn't matter as it looks and feels like any Android phone.

It's very similar to stock android. I just got my mrs one (for pokemon go, natch), and she's the least tech-savvy person I know. :smiley:

Nope, it's Android but with extra bits. If you like Android but want more control then you'll love this phone. It's not any different to Android in the way it works, looks and feels, there is just more of it. Couple of examples: it comes with Truecaller and you can turn individual app permissions on and off.
