Thanx. Been looking at one for a while and couldn't decide whether or not to buy but couldn't resist at this price. Baby due yesterday, perfect prep machine due tomorrow, let's see which gets here first lol.

I bet you use a tv remote to change channel, and probably use a vehicle for transport rather than walking, maybe even use a phone to communicate with someone instead of going to see them in person .. And use plenty of other inventions for lazy people

Please forgive a potential misjudgement on my part but I believed the concept of 'Hot Uk Deals' to be a platform on which to share good deals you have found with others so as to be helpful and save people money. So please see why I am struggling to understand why you even exist on here. This is not a platform for some 'I know best' over opinionated, judgemental idiot to attempt to force their beliefs onto everyone else. If this is your preference then fine, each to their own, but no need to try to nastily force it upon everyone else. Lets just remember the purpose of this site and the fact that this deal has saved people who want it money, the heat it has been given proves just that. You clearly don't want it so lets just look upon it as you have saved even more money and leave it at that because short of producing your own 'breast is best' fan club I don't know where else you can go with your opinions

stick to your dodgy kettle boiling and microwaved bottles and leave the rest of us to enjoy our incredibly handy baby feed time helper.
perfect amount of filtered water delivered at the perfect temperature every single time.
just let people enjoy themselves and time with their babies. it's hard enough looking after a new born without trying to eye up kettle water or guessing about microwave timings.

Having done one baby without and one baby with... I feel for my first born who had to wait so long from being hungry to actually getting milk :smiley:

Congratulations. We're 18 months in with our first so I thought I'd impart three bits of advice (in order of importance):
1) Sleep. Get lots of it. Get your fill of lie-ins, while you can.
2) Get your fill of evenings out together now. Eat, drink (well the hubbies can :smile:) and be merry.
3) Resist the urge to buy everything people recommend. Wether that be friends, other soon to be parents, midwives, adverts, magazines, etc. You won't use half of it, you may get some items as gifts anyway and unless you live in the sticks you can pickup the few items you actually need when the time comes. All you definitely need is Nappies, wipes, some clothes, car seat, push chair, cot. Anything else you find you need, will give you a good reason to get out and give the little one and you some fresh air.
I say this as a Dad with a house full of crap we didn't end up using :/ Including this machine as the Mrs breast fed in the end.
Oh and try to enjoy it, despite the lack of sleep. Before you know it you'll be missing those early months when all he/she wanted to do is lay on your chest for hours on end.
