Been to Tesco's in Ashby de la zouche and they had this price cut on the chicken katsu curry kit.
I normally buy this at the full price of £2.99 or when on offer its £1.99.
Today I saw it for 62p and thought what a bargain so bought 3 packs.
This is a national deal as I asked to make sure.
Not available through their site so I'm guessing it's last stock of the product now.
Thanks

Didn't know Tesco sold a katsu kit, which aisle is this in? I love katsu at Wagamama, does it taste similar? Thanks for posting!

It's where all the Chinese, Indian stock are. Normally by the sauces section. they also do a Thai green curry but at full price. I've had the yo sushi katsu curry and it tastes very similar. we love it anyway.

Ours had them on the clearance shelf at a similar price at the Wellingborough store yesterday.

As an aside, Tesco (Twickenham) has reduced all their "Court Ingles" stuff to 25% of original price (about what it ought to be!). Picked up a load of meat, tins, oil this morning (£1.07 for a litre of olive oil). maybe national.

In Japan Katsu Curry is like fish & chips and you find restaurants that do katsu curry and that's it. It's served with either one breaded chicken breast or pork cutlet or you can buy multiples depending on how hungry you are. Ready made things are great and most the same but as with anything, much better when made from scratch! Will go have a nose around Tesco for some later as I LOVE Japanese food!
