Probably not unless it's short periods of direct light. Or morning/evening light
Also may depend whether the terrarium is sealed or open-air. as at least the sealed ones recycle the moisture in the terrarium, keeping it watered whilst the open ones are at risk of drying out quickly in direct sun.

Thanks for the hints on taking care on terrariums. Judging by the looks of it, it's not one of those sealed ones. Always fascinated by those sealed ones when I'm in the garden centres.
