It's probably as Rockband rivals is on its way fairly soon.
I'm not sure if there is a band bundle for it but certainly a guitar bundle.
Anyone know more about it? Seems to me like it's a fresh game....

it's because all these instruments are made by madcatz, harmonix have decided to stop using them as their manufacturer so they are clearing out old madcatz stock before their new manufacturer starts later in the year

I picked this up from zavvi a month back for £60 which I thought was bargainous, but this is crazy cheap.
One thing thats worth noting is that you can no longer export rockband1/2/beatles/greenday songs to import into the RB4 library. I was hoping to have a megacollection of all of the old RB setlists in the new game, but it seems they've stopped providing support for this.... UNLESS you've already exported from RB1/2 etc.
You can still export from RB3 which I picked up cheap on ebay, although you need to sign into your XBL account on a 360 to "link" the game to your account. Then you can download the RB3 setlist from within RB4
