Hopefully this will be of use to someone. I follow a few ebayers and this seller regularly put up decent deals.
Not current edge stuff but a cheap Windows tablet nonetheless. Shame that the Windows 10 free upgrade is now over though.

Windows 7 will likely be missing a lot of drivers like wifi and touchscreen for this device so not advisable. Plus Windows 8.1 and 10 work better with lower amounts of ram.
Without an HDMI port I think there are better options for a little more money if you fancy plugging it into the TV and running Kodi.
But I think the best use for these devices now aren't even as tablets but as a wireless 2nd screen for another tablet or laptop. Windows 10's Projecting to this PC feature is awesome, I picked up one of the Archos 90 8.9" tablets a while back for £50 just because it was only £50 and it's sat doing nothing because Windows isn't a great tablet OS and I have a Dell Venue 11 anyway. But now I can pop it to the side of my Venue 11 as a second wireless display that I can throw in the case carry bag and always have a second display with me wherever I go. Windows even keeps full touch functionality on the second display. That is invaluable.
So as a tablet I'm sure many will smirk at 1gb of ram and it being Windows, but how about as a £40 wireless display?

I brought one about 18 months ago to play around with. Decent enough for the price. Good if you like Windows.

So if you have 2 windows 10 PCs, can you project or extend the screen from one to the other? How do you do that?

I'm tempted to get one just to load sickbeard on or something. Or use it to get usenet downloads instead of faffing about using main pc on all the time.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't have an HDMI out on it. If you're just talking about something to manage torrents downloading to a NAS then yeah it'll handle that just dandy, but for actual media consumption unless you have it outputting to a wireless display just keep in mind I'm pretty sure it has no HDMI port.
