I made one of these. Wooden train set on offer in Tesco, £7.50 plus one I had already had for several years, plywood from Wickes, £7. Gorilla Glue £7. Bits of felt etc to make roads and grass that I already had. Kids love it and was less than £25 and its massive :-) Plus the kids used to make me set the tracks up and then wreck it and expect me to do it again. Not any more!
