may not appeal to all but the phillips one blade is at a very good price in boots at the moment.
basic model is £23.32 usual price £34.99
several models in between but top range one is
£53.32 usual price £79.99.
may be a bit pricey for some but if you intend to get one why not save some money on it 1 model is £65 in Tesco £43.32 in boots.

If you bear in mind that this has only 1 blade, It's better value buying from Amazon as it's £29.99 and includes a spare blade. A spare blade costs £11.99, and will need replacing at least once every 4 months.

OOS online but its actually a cracking shaver. use it like a normal razor and it gives a close enough shave with minimal burn. waterproof too.

I went into 2 Boots stores at the weekend and they didn't even seem to sell them! Went online later on and got a better deal off Amazon (extra blade)

Had same issue, but asked an assistant & for whatever reason a lit of stores are keeping them behind the till counters.

What's the difference/benefits against an ordinary trimmer?

this gives a better "clean shave" than a regular trimmer

Anybody have any hands on experience of these please? Read a couple of reviews online but I'm always a little suspicious of new product reviews posted on retailers websites

its very good, can't feel the blade against the skin at all, no irritation, no cuts, only negative for some is that it doesn't give a completely clean shave like a normal blade would, but that is not its purpose

It's not a razor shave. If you need razor close don't buy this....however I bought one because I like to keep my facial hair neat and trim. You have various comb lengths and can define accurately with the shaver. It does get nice and close almost smooth but it's awesome for trimming styling.
