Most fragrances are incredibly weak nowadays due to EU (and other) regulations on the maximum amount of various compounds (as they MAY cause skin irritation especially if exposed to sunlight alongside the fragrance). Gone are the days when you'd put on Le Male (etc) and still be able to smell it the next day.

I find it lasts long enough if you don't use it as a substitute for showering. Try taking a wash before you put it on

It's possible that a company could release different formulations to comply with the regulations in different areas however from what I know they just create a new formulation to comply with all markets. If you want something stronger I'd try some of the fragrance oils from Saudi Arabia / Kuwait etc.
